Area TEC students brought home an impressive 29 medals at the state SkillsUSA Leadership Conference held April 12–14 in Grand Rapids. Seventy (70) TEC students from ten programs competed at the state-level competition. Twenty-nine (29) students earned medals, including ten gold medal winners —Jenna Delia, Jaela Krosnicki (Model: Jewel Rickman), Samantha Halsey (Model: Olivia Churchill), Gavin Ward, Lucas Bauman, Daniel Vandenbossche (MCHS), Jaiden Schulte (MCHS), and Allane Stamplis (SCHS). The seven Gold Medalists in programs holding a National Competition will compete in Atlanta, Georgia, June 24–28.
