In Ms. Reed's class they have been working on team building and building their classroom community. They begin each day with their morning meeting. They have time to greet each other, do a class share and participate in a class building activity. They use lots of Kagan strategies, but some of their favorites are hands up pair up and quiz quiz trade.
In writing they are learning how to write a good sentence. They know it must start with a capital, end with punctuation and have spaces between words. They have even learned about subjects and predicates too!
