Science Alive

On April 8, 2024, Michigan's Science Alive came to provide some fun and excitement for our K-5 ECVA students. This was voluntary for our students and the activities were held at the ECSD Innovation Center.

There were several activities that students got to participate in throughout the experience. The 1st of the two activities was "egg-pollo" were students designed and created a spacecraft for their "eggstronaut" to survive a ladder fall. The 2nd activity was on states of matter and the educator did several different demonstrations/experiments and then students got to create their own slime!

We are always looking for opportunities for hybrid student learning opportunities, and we thank our K-5 ECVA teacher Mrs. Deziel for setting this up for our youngest students!
