Congratulations to Mrs. Flynn! 

Nicole Flynn, who teaches Spanish and Life Skills at St. Clair Middle School, has been recognized as St. Clair County’s Distinguished Teacher for September. Flynn was presented with the award during a surprise classroom visit on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

The Distinguished Teacher award, sponsored by RESA, is given monthly during the school year to educators who exemplify high teaching standards.

She was nominated by her principal, Mike Domagalski, and a colleague. Brenda Tenniswood, RESA director of Education Services presented the award. She said of Flynn, “Nichole truly exemplifies what it means to be a teacher. She has a heart for her students that extends way beyond the walls of the classroom. She has high expectations for her students and is very passionate about mentoring students and families.”

Flynn also received $300 for her classroom from Insurance Specialists Agency of Marysville, the local MEEMIC agent.
